What's disco got to do with spirituality you ask? Everything! To quote Madonna in Get Into the Groove- "Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free."
As a gay teenager growing up in the stifling suburbia of Western Canada in the 70s disco was my salvation. And ever since, losing myself on the dance floors of London, NY, Paris and Ibiza has been my church. God is a DJ.
