5 years ago, after living in London for 35 years, I took a leap of faith and moved to Ibiza. I had been stuck in a rut and was deeply unhappy. My London life had become toxic since leaving my eponymous PATRICKCOX shoe brand. I was lost and searching for connection.

Over the past 4 years in Ibiza I have been on a psychedelic journey of self discovery encompassing sitting with the medicines LSD, Psilocybin, DMT, Ayahuasca and finally and most importantly with the sacred toad- smoking the secretions of the Sonoran Desert Toad containing the psychedelic compound 5Meo-DMT also known as the God Molecule. Now, emerging from my self imposed psychedelic cocoon, I feel reborn with a new sense of purpose- I want to live a more simple life, in harmony with nature and I want to spread the word about the incredible healing powers of these psychedelic medicines. 

I prefer the term ENTHEOGEN to the word PSYCHEDELIC which has so much baggage. Meaning "to reveal the God within" that is exactly what these medicines do- they open you to a true mystical experience and you heal yourself from within.I'd stopped designing in my new life in Ibiza but connecting to my True Self has taught me that I must express myself creatively to live fully. And that is what this Doors Of Perception brand is all about- consciousness raising clothing.I have been running my whole life and I have finally stopped running.

I have found peace.

And I would like to share that peace with you.
