After living in London for 35 years, I took a leap of faith and moved to Ibiza. My life in London had become toxic since leaving my eponymous PATRICK COX shoe brand. I was lost and deeply unhappy, searching for connection and longing for a fresh start.

On Ibiza, I embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery and introspection, exploring alternative paths to personal growth and enlightenment through experiential practices and Sacred medicines. These entheogens, meaning "to reveal the God within", have the power to facilitate profound, mystical experiences and enable inner healing. 

Now, emerging from my psychedelic cocoon, I feel reborn with a new sense of purpose: to lead a simpler life in harmony with nature. I'd stopped designing, but connecting to my true self has shown me that creative expression is at the heart of a fulfilling life for me. And so Doors of Perception was born. Consciousness-raising clothing, ethically sourced, sustainably produced, and embroidered with love right here on Ibiza.

I have found peace.

And I would like to share that peace with you.
